Updated: Sep 11, 2023

Oneonta, NY --- The Catskill Mountain Speak Out House is back! We are inviting attendees of the City of the Hills Festival to stop by and share their unique stories and experiences for the Living Archive Project. The Speak Out House, which is presented by the Roxbury Arts Group in collaboration with multimedia artist Christina Hunt Wood, is a mobile sound booth that offers a private space amidst the festivities for individuals to record their reflections about life in the Northern Catskills.

The City of the Hills Festival, organized by CANO, is a celebration of arts and community in the heart of downtown Oneonta, NY. Nestled along the picturesque Susquehanna River in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. Building on the tremendous success of last year's festival, the 2023 edition has expanded to span two days of arts and culture, promising an even bigger and better experience for all who attend.

The Catskill Mountain Speak Out House will be a unique addition to this year's City of the Hills Festival. This mobile, solar powered sound booth will provide festival attendees with a private space to share their personal reflections about life in our region. Prompts will be available to inspire and guide your storytelling journey.
